Applies to: Customers who have a Stripe account connected to Chaser.

How to set up
- Connect your Stripe account to Chaser
- Go to Manage > Payment Portal
- Select "Processing fee settings"
- Enter the fixed amount, and/or percentage amount that you want to charge to your customer
- There are separate processing fees settings for Direct Debit and Card payments. Follow the same process in the Direct Debit section to add fees for BACS, BECS, ACH or SEPA.
By selecting save, you are agreeing that you have read and understood the legal rules and regulations in your region.
Making a payment
The processing fee will be visible to your debtor when they make a payment using the payment portal

Can I charge processing fees to my customers using Chaser Pay?
This functionality is not currently available using Chaser Pay. If you are interested in using this feature with Chaser Pay please let us know.
Are there any legal restrictions on charging Stripe fees to customers?
There are legal restrictions in some regions. It's important to research or seek legal counsel in your area to understand these.
Will Chaser automatically update invoices to include these fees?
Chaser does not automatically update invoices for these fees. You'll need to manually add them to your invoice or issue an additional one.
Can I use this feature with all accounting software integrations?
You can enable this feature with any integration but if you will need to manually code the fees in your accounting system.
Is there a limit to the amount I can charge as a processing fee?
There's no specific limit set by Chaser, but you should consider Stripe's guidelines and legal constraints.
Will Chaser provide legal advice on enabling this feature?
