How Auto-calls Work
With Auto-call, you can schedule automatic calls to remind customers about their outstanding invoices. The system reads from your call templates using text-to-speech. Log into your Chaser account to access and personalize Chaser's default templates to match your tone and preferences.
Auto-calls will be made at your chosen time for any invoices to be chased using this method.
Customers will be contacted using the mobile phone number in Chaser, which is pulled from the accounting system or ERP. For customers using our CSV or Chaser API integrations, send your mobile numbers using these methods.
Here is an example of the call that your customer will receive: Auto-call Example.
If your customer does not answer but has a voicemail set up, a message will be left, a message will be left. All calls made using Auto-call will be visible in the history of the relevant invoice and customer.
Customer responses
The system uses text-to-speech and cannot understand or interpret responses. Inform your customer at the start of the call that it is an automated message.

International customers and country codes
To make phone calls outside your organization's region, add the country code to the phone number so the call can connect successfully. Some accounting systems allow bulk uploading of contacts. Using Xero, you can update all of your contacts in bulk using their import functionality.
