Company information

Company registration number

  • This can be found in your company's incorporation documents, publicly available on Companies House for UK businesses.

Business URL

  • Your business' website address. If unavailable, please use your business' social media page or similar.

Business description

  • A short description of your business (e.g.' Marketing agency that provides advertising support services').

Company representative

This must be a duly authorised business representative (e.g. CEO, CFO, SMO, Director, or other).

They will need to provide

  • Date of birth
  • Phone number
  • Nationality 
  • Address
  • % ownership of the business
  • Copy of passport or driving licence

Use this email template to request the required information from your company representative.

Bank account information

Account number and sort code for the account to which you want to receive funds for payments made. Account must be under the name of a business entity. 

Company stakeholders

The following details are required from each director and UBO (Ultimate Beneficial Owner) of the company

  • Date of birth.
  • Address.
  • Business ownership percentage.
  • A copy of their passport or driving licence.

Use this email template to request the required information from your company stakeholders.

Sales information

The following details on your business's sales expectations are required to help us make sure your business stays compliant.

  • Average monthly turnover.
  • Average single transaction value.
  • The fulfilment timeframe (the longest if you offer multiple options) is as follows:

Use this email template to request the required information from your company's Finance Director or Head of Sales.

Required documents

Incorporation document

  • This can be found in your company's filing history, publicly available on Companies House for UK businesses.

A bank statement or a voided check

  • File dated within the last three months.

Proof of address

  • Must be under the name of the company and issued within the last three months; acceptable documents include:
  • Company utility bill.
  • Bank statement letter (not a screenshot).
  • Any official government office issues letters (e.g. HMRC letter).
  • The lease agreement was issued within the last 12 months.
  • An invoice addressed to the company.

Use this email template to request the required information from your company's Secretary or Finance Team member.

Email template 1: Request the required information from your company representative

Dear [FIRST NAME],

 

We are signing up for a new payment system at [YOUR COMPANY NAME] called Chaser Pay.

This allows our customers to pay us via a wide range of convenient payment options, lets us receive payments faster with instant bank transfers, and lets customers pay invoices by simply clicking a link in their payment reminder email. 

We are making this change to help us get invoices paid faster, and improve cash flow at [COMPANY NAME].

What we need from you: In order to sign up for the service, we need some details from you as a company director. Please could you share the following details with me by [DEADLINE DATE] to ensure we can complete our application:

  • Date of birth
  • Phone number
  • Nationality 
  • Address
  • % ownership of the business
  • Copy of passport or driving licence

In order to complete our onboarding for the service, we need to share the below supporting documents. Please could you share the below with me by [DEADLINE] so we can complete our signup for Chaser Pay:

1) A bank statement or a voided check dated within the last 3 months

2) Proof of address under the name of the company and issued within the last 3 months, acceptable documents include:

  • Company utility bill
  • Bank statement letter (not a screenshot)
  • Any official government office issues letter (e.g HMRC letter)
