Configuration guide for the Sage Intacct Integration
Get started
Before connecting your Sage Intacct account to Chaser, please ensure the necessary prerequisites are set up in your Sage Intacct account. Follow the steps below to get started.
Step 1: Sage Intacct Prerequisites
1. Subscribe to Web Services
1.1 Company 🡪 Admin 🡪 Subscriptions
1.2 Find Web Services and click on it to Subscribe
1.3 Ignore the warning about additional charges
2. Authorize Chaser Web Services Sender ID for the company.
2.1 Company 🡪 Setup 🡪 Configuration 🡪 Security
2.2 Select Edit
2.3 Scroll to Web Services authorizations, click Add and then enter the following sender information:

2.4 Click Save - then don't forget to click Save again on the Company settings
3. Create a new role
3.1 Company 🡪 Admin 🡪 Roles
3.2 Click Add
3.3 Create a new role called ChaserIntegrationRole with the following subscriptions (permissions). Users can also download the following CSV file and upload it to Sage Intacct to create the new role: Sage Intacct Role CSV

3.4 Click Save
4. Create a web services user account
4.1 Company 🡪 Admin 🡪 Web Services Users
4.2 Click Add
4.3 Enter a unique User ID
4.4 Enter a Username to identify the person in the Web Services Users list.
4.5 Enter the user's Account email address
4.6 In the Contact name, select an existing contact or create a new contact
4.7 Select a User type: Business
4.8 Select Admin privileges: Limited
4.9 Assign the previously created ChaserIntegrationRole role

4.10 When done, Save your changes
4.11 When the confirmation popup appears, select Create, enter your password, and select Verify - Avoid using common words or easily guessable information - your password should be complex and unique to this account.
4.12 The new Web Services user will receive an email with their user ID information:
Step 2: Set up a new Chaser organisation with Sage Intacct
Before connecting to your Sage Intacct account, take out a free trial by filling out the following form: https://www.chaserhq.com/signup
Please ensure your Sage Intacct has the appropriate prerequisites met before the connection can be made. After signing up for your free trial of Chaser, you’ll be redirected to the following options:
Select the Sage Intacct integration option, and then select ‘Connect with Sage Intacct’.
You will be met by the following modal. Here, you’ll need to enter the login authentication details you generated in Step 1 : Prerequisites. Once these details have been entered, you can select Continue with Sage Intacct. On a successful connection, you’ll be prompted to confirm your organisation name, currency and preferred timezone. Once confirmed, your organisation will begin syncing with Chaser.
Errors
If you receive the following error message or something similar it is likely due to one of the following reasons:
- You have entered the credentials incorrectly. Please check for blank spacesand , ensure the password is correct.
- The Web Services user has been set up incorrectly or with insufficient permissions. Please check all prerequisites have been met for the user, and please ensure the role has sufficient permissions.
