Success Metrics
Learn how to use the metrics at the top of your Chaser dashboard to understand the impact of your credit control methods.
This feature is designed to provide you with a high-level overview of your credit control performance by focusing on these key areas; efficiency, productivity, and financial results. By tracking these success metrics, you can move beyond simple activity tracking and see the tangible value Chaser adds to your business.

Time saved
The Time saved metric will answer the question: How much manual work did Chaser remove?
As the clearest indicator of ROI for both users and management, it provides a clear measure of the efficiency gains achieved by choosing automation over manual credit control.
How is this calculated?
To provide an accurate reflection of your productivity, Chaser analyses the volume of chases (emails, SMS, auto-calls and letters) that were triggered automatically. This data is then compared against the manual equivalents - the time it would have taken a member of your team to perform those same actions individually, this metric is updated at midnight daily.
Reminders sent
The Reminders sent metric is a key indicator of your productivity and automation reach. It will answer the central question for your credit control process: How much activity did Chaser handle for me?
How is it calculated?
Chaser counts the total volume of automated and manual chases triggered and sent to your customers, this metric is updated at midnight daily.
Total Paid
The Total paid metric converts your Chaser activity into clear financial results, reinforcing the direct link between Chaser’s automation and actual money in the bank.
How is it calculated?
To ensure accuracy, the Total paid metric is calculated using payment matching and tracks payment events over a set period.
% overdue invoices paid
The % overdue invoices paid metric is a high-level indicator of how effective your credit control methods are. While other metrics track the work being done, this one focuses on the ultimate business outcome: measurable cash flow impact.
How is it calculated?
This metric is calculated using a comparison of paid versus total overdue invoices.
