Log emails in Pipedrive

Keep your communications organised by logging emails in Pipedrive. To get started, connect your email account to Chaser using the direct email integration.

Set up email logging in Chaser

  1. Copy your BCC email address from Pipedrive.

    1. Go to company settings > Email sync > Smart Bcc.

      Under Smart Bcc emails are accepted from, enter the desired email address and click ”Add.“

This email address will need to be validated. Read Pipedrive's help article on Smart Bcc for more information. 

  1. In Chaser, go to Manage > Sending > Email Logging.

  2. Paste your Pipedrive BCC address into the field provided.

Choosing between BCC and CC

Use BCC
BCC is best when you’ve already installed the Pipedrive email extension, which logs any emails you send manually. The BCC option logs the first message sent through Chaser without duplicating entries created in Pipedrive for replies manually sent by you.

Use CC
If the Pipedrive email extension isn’t installed, enter the BCC address into the CC field in Chaser instead. This helps log replies as well. If someone replies using reply instead of reply all, you can manually add the CC address back into the thread to keep it logged.
